into the Art
of Quilt Making"
A comprehensive foundation class for the beginning
quiltler. This beginning class introduces the art of quiltmaking.
A comprehensive set of basic skills are taught to enable the beginner
to make a complete quilt - from start to finish. This foundation class
covers everything from tools, techniques, and materials to perfect
piecing, machine quilting, and binding. There will be homework between
classes.
• 4 weeks - 2 & 1/2 hours each class.

Fiber Scarves - Learn how to incorporate
fabric, yarns, and decorative threads to make a unique, one-of-a-kind
fiber scarf. Using rinse away stabilizer, students will learn how
to create a quick and easy custom scarf.

Come and spend the day in the country
and finish that project in peace and quiet, without any distractions!!!
No need to bring a machine, just pack up that nagging project and
use one of the brand new Bernina sewing machines. All tools and equipment
are available for use, including rulers, cutting mats, rotary cutters,
pins, needles, scissors, thread, and whatever else you need.
Bright studio lights and design walls
help speed you on your way to finishing that project or learning
a new skill. Guidance and supervision from a competent and well educated
award winning instructor compliment the time spent "...on the
farm..." Bring a friend or two, and enjoy a relaxing day - you
deserve it! If time permits, stay overnight
in picturesque Gig Harbor, a few miles down the road.

day studio time includes coffee, tea, juice, and gourmet morning
goodies
